A Summer Highlight

The past few days at Camp Laurel South have been packed with excitement, energy, and some unforgettable memories. Campers of all ages dove into some of our most beloved S-Day activities, including thrilling rounds of bumper tubing that had everyone laughing and splashing all afternoon. We also hosted pickleball and basketball tournaments that brought out the best in friendly competition and showcased some serious camper skills.

The highlight of the week, without a doubt, was our much-anticipated trip to Funtown Splashtown, USA. After some S-Day ice cream sundaes, we loaded up the buses and headed down to Saco, Maine to take over the park, having it completely to ourselves! After a day of rides, water slides, games, and pure fun, campers headed back “home”. It’s always a special time to see the entire camp out in the world, celebrating summer the Laurel South way—with huge smiles and even bigger hearts.

Now that we’re back at camp, our regular programming is in full swing again. It’s hard to believe that we’re already at the halfway point of the summer, but time flies when every day is filled with adventure, friendship, and growth. Campers have returned to their activities with fresh energy and are making the most of every moment on Crescent Lake. As we look ahead, the buzz around camp is building with anticipation. Could Spirit Days be just around the corner? Only time will tell. In the meantime, everyone is looking forward to our spectacular 4th of July Carnival and Fireworks celebration—a night that promises to be filled with that unmistakable Laurel South magic.
